Kodak at the Glen

A wild race at the Glen! A lot of cars had trouble, and turn 1 proved deadly for almost half the field.

Adkins and Barros lead the boys to the start!
Lap 2: Early trouble for Powers as he gets loose in turn 2 and backs it into the wall. No caution.
Lap 12: Zach Dorian has header issues and has to retire from the back of the field
Lap 20: More trouble for guys at the back, Bracket blows an engine running in 18th
Lap 30: The first round of pit stops happen, with only a handfull of cars staying out
Lap 35: Harkins' awful year keeps getting worse, Mechanical issues force a retirement
Barros had lead the entire race, but Adkins was right on his bumper trying to overtake him on the backstretch
Crazyness happened that brought out the first caution. First, Simms divebombed the 53 spinning him in turn 1, and the 53 parked it on the run off grass.
But on the same lap, in the same spot, the 87 and 17 got together and brought out the caution
On the restart, the 10 jumped out to a huge lead with the lapped traffic of the 13 holding up the field
Unger has gearbox issues and has to retire from the race with 26 laps left.
Barros was sailing to a victory, but Simms got into Severn spinning him in turn 1.
And just like the other caution, Zetticci and Tabulov both got together both narrowly missing the sitting 1 car. The pace car came out and racked the field back up with 15 to go.
The caution let everyone come in to refill their fuel tanks so they could finish on gas. Wick just beat out Adkins and Barros to take the lead.
I missed what happened with 10 laps to go from taking screenshots, but Simms and Fischer managed to both crash. I assume one car got under another and they both backed it into the fence. Maybe in turn 2. The caution came out and gave guys like McAffee, Adkins, and Barros a chance to steal the win away from Wick.
Wick took the lead and used Powers as a pick to block on the last fewlaps. Adkins and Barros both caught up to McAffee and made the race for 2nd very interesting.
Wick hangs on for his second series win!
Wick earned a big win, but he is all but out of the championship hunt. Barros had a really good run that he just couldn't finish. His points lead grew just by finishing 3rd. A few drivers took turns going to the 4's hauler after tying Flint's 3 accident record.
Michigan is next! Maybe a ford from the Harden or Fletcher stable can get their first win of the year.
