Going in alphabetical order by team, the preview for the upcoming season will be revealed shortly. The projections are based on an average of the drivers as ranked by the owners of Taylor Motorsports and Team Harden.

Updates!
All the cars for the 2014 Sim Cup Season are done and ready to race! They will be posted in our team by team season preview. During that time, a new add on to this blog will sync posts to the @Mock_Sports twitter. That will let me seamlessly update everyone on the league. It'll update every half hour, so I hope this works!
I also did some house keeping on the sidebar and tabs up above, so be sure to check those out.

But the recording system is still needing to be played with. It's the last step from us starting up the engines at Homestead. Sometime in May will be the starting date.

2014 Free Agent List
Here is a list of drivers that are not currently attatched to a team for next season. Most are rookies, so I'm thinking they will have a lower limit on their ratings for a handfull of races, or something. But if you're planning to sack your underperforming driver, please tell me in some way, and we can get these guys a ride.
Carson Fitzpatrick
Patrick Cobb, Jr.
Will Strauss
Jamie Simms
Ryan Barber
For next season, if this recording program is functional, we can record races for YouTube and work from there. The blog will still be running. But since I wouldn't have to screenshot races, we could expand. For next year, I'm thinking that another team might be cool. 22 Drivers for now. Then, we can decide if we want to expand even more. I was thinking that if we do that. The top 8 teams in team points would get a 3rd driver, round it up to 30 teams and set it like that.
So let me know what you all think.

News
I realized that the smoke effects from spins and car breakdowns were off on most tracks. Those are now on and will be featured in this weekend's race at Darlington.
Also next season, I'm thinking about doing a duel weekend set of races. A custom track named Desert Winds Speedway has a 2.3 mile trioval and a 4 mile road course. I want to expand the schedule next season with a few more unique tracks now that I know how to download them. So I think a double feature would be really cool. The track layout looks like this.
What do you guys think? I would like some more involvement from everyone. When we do the tournament, I'm going to post a bracket and you all can fill them out and we can see who wins

News
The Logocast Cup series will begin races this weekend(hopefully)! Depending on wifi connections in the hotel I will be staying at in Philadelphia, I will post the results of the opening Florida 400 in Homestead.
The scoring rules will change. Instead of running individual sims, I will edit the schedule of the seasons on the game to our 14 race schedule. Everything will be saved and stored there, with in depth points. The points will be based off the 1999 system.
Only 20 cars will race this year. Instead of waiting for another person, we will have a nice number at 20 drivers with 10 teams.
As of now, races will not be recorded. I cannot find a program that records for windows 8. If I do halfway through, then I will start. But screenshots have worked for me in the past.
I will open up the All-Star race voting soon. We will decide on a track that is not on the schedule to run at after the 14th race.
So lets get at it, boys!

Driver Intro
Every driver in this league has a randomly generated name, and the exact same ratings.
The way the game does ratings is that a randomly generated number in between the range given determines how good the driver does. I have no control over that, so each race should be random. The 3 ratings that have to do with the car match the best of the current cup cars.
I randomized the drivers for the teams, and they are as follows.
Taylor Motorsports- Toyota
19- Dillon Fischer- Old Spice
26- Anthony Wick- AAA
Fletcher Autosport- Ford
53- Davis McAffee- Dinoco
87- Brendan Irons- Kodak
Dumas Racing- Ford
12- Kevin Richmond- New Era
17- Scott Unger- Apple
Irish Lads Racing- Chevy
25- Joey Walkowiak- Havoline
82- Tim Bowen- Buffalo Wild Wings
Northstar Motorsports- Chevy
5- Ricky Bracket- Verizon
10- Matheus Barros- Best Buy
Revolution Motorsports- Chevy
6- Matt Zetticci- Ducks Unlimited
9- Michael Adkins- Puma
Chertein Racing- Ford
2- Drew Tabulov- DC Shoes
20- Danny Harkins- Fox Racing
Team Harden- Ford
4- Jamie Simms- Burger King
21- Tommy Morello- Kellogg's
Big Stuff Racing- Ford
0- Karl Flint- O'Charly's
61- Zach Dorian- Stove Top Stuffing
Team Powers Racing- Chevy
1- Jason Severn- Adesa
13- Jim Powers- Irving Oil
TBA
Patrick Cobb, Jr., Carson Fitzpatrick

Introduction
Hello, and welcome to the Logocast Cup Series! Here is a crazy idea that I feel like has huge potential to attract a fans of all kinds.
So basically, 10 friends and I will all be the team owner of our own stock car teams. We all get two cars with completely custom numbers, sponsors and paint schemes. Using those 22 cars, I will sim our races using the old Nascar game Nascar Racing 3. Over a 14 race schedule, the most points will win the championship. Every driver is fake, and even with eachother ratings wise, so that means even, random racing.
The 14 race schedule was chosen with all kinds of different tracks to make the racing interesting and competative. The Schedule will be as so
I plan to record the races, then editing the races down, commentate, then post on YouTube. But this is to establish the rules. Stay tuned.

- Florida 400- Homestead-Miami Speedway
- BB&T 400- Rockingham Speedway
- Belk Darlington 400- Darlington Speedway
- ChickFilA 500- Atlanta Motor Speedway
- Walmart 500- Talladega Speedway
- Golden State 350- Sonoma Raceway
- Charlotte 500- Charlotte Motor Speedway
- Levi Strauss 400- Richmond Speedway
- Gibson Guitars 500- Bristol Motor Speedway
- Menards Indy 400- Indianapolis Motor Speedway
- Kodak at the Glen- Watkins Glen Speedway
- Ford Fusion 400- Michigan International Speedway
- Chipotle Grill 500- Phoenix International Raceway
- The Vegas Shootout- Las Vegas Motor Speedway
- All-Star Race(non points race)
The bolded races will be a tournament race. As a way to keep interest, starting at the 5th race, the top 16 cars in points will be in a small tournament. The standings by that race will seed the drivers, and the best result between the match up will advance.
The points are simple, 24 for the winner as a bonus. 21 points for the 2nd place driver, 20 for the 3rd, and all the way down to 1 point for the last place driver.
I plan to record the races, then editing the races down, commentate, then post on YouTube. But this is to establish the rules. Stay tuned.
